Why Governance Matters
Governance is about more than compliance. It is the foundation for leadership, accountability, and integrity. For AIQS, good governance ensures that:
- Decisions are made in the best interests of the Institute and its members.
- The reputation and standing of the profession are safeguarded.
- AIQS meets its obligations under the Corporations Act, Constitution, By-Laws, and governance policies.
- The Institute is sustainable and resilient in the face of new challenges, including technological change, regulatory reform, and industry risks.
Strong governance builds confidence for members, regulators, government, and the broader community that AIQS is a trusted and effective professional body.
